Making their mark: women silversmiths from Oman
We worked with a large team across the museum’s curatorial, scientific, design and production departments to help realise this exhibition on contemporary and historic silversmithing in Oman.
As well as telling the stories of three contemporary silversmiths, supported by historic objects from the museum’s collection, the exhibition was also a chance for the museum to show new research in microscopy and imaging.
Our spatial designs balanced the tension between hand-crafted objects and high-tech imagery and allowed visitors to experience the jewellery at a range of scales.
